Antique jewellery taken from Bungay shop

A reward is being offered after thousands of pounds of jewellery was stolen from a shop in Bungay.A large amount of gold and silver jewellery was taken between Saturday night and Sunday morning from an antiques shop on Earsham Street. The businessman involved, who does not want to be named, is offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offender and the recovery of the jewellery.Most of it was antique, including a Victorian gold ring, a diamond and emerald Victorian ring, an Edwardian gold ring, a square ruby and diamond ring, and a rose gold sapphire ring. Necklaces were also taken, including a blue topaz on a rigid snake chain, a silver moonstone on a chain and a heart shaped locket. Also stolen were a rose gold bangle bracelet, a Victorian gate bracelet, silver flat snake bracelet, a Victorian brooch with pearls and antique gold dollar earrings. Many of the rings were in octagonal green leather boxes.They were taken between 5.30pm on Saturday and 10.45am on Sunday.
